Poverty and digital divide

The development of computer and the other technology bring for the people many solutions in your life.  I think that computer it's a good revolution for the society, althought many people can't have acess to this.

A poor people are consider excluded from the technology revolution, they don't have this privilege to acess computers and make the life easier, because the state and the population many times don't worry with lower classes.

However for people to have acess to this techonolgy, many times there isn't a time to solve their daly problems , but we can do this with a "click" .

Hi Rayane,
What an interesting topic you decided to write about. Yes, the rich get richer and the porr get poorer. That´s what happens with technology (and other things, for that matter). That is why, as Susana says, it is the duty of teachers to try to help more needy students acquire computer skills that will help them integrate to what is going on in life and education. I particularly teach at a university where there are many students coming from the country side who do not even have a computer at home. By having activities in the computer and online, I am trying to help them out and become familiar with a world that is totally new to them. In the end, they really like doing stuff online.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
